The Queen and Her Court

The Queen and Her Court Block of the Month Program
*3rd Saturday of Month for 12 Months
*Next Session starts August 15, 2009
(only 3 spaces left)

Imagine a Queen and Her Court translated into a beautiful, Heirloom Quilt.
The Court - 12 pieced blocks - surrounds the Queen - the center block - and in turn they are surrounded by stunning applique' blocks of vines and flowers. For 12 months you will receive fabric kits that use the beautiful fabrics from the Marie Antionette Group by Timeless Treasures to create the 12 pieced blocks and the applique' blocks and checkerboards, the center block, borders and bindings. Your quilt finishes to approximately
96 x 108 inches (queen size, of course!). Your pattern set includes the handy, commemorative Queen and Her Court tote bag, an 8½" x 11" color picture of the quilt, complete block patterns and directions and full size appliqué patterns. The 12" blocks use basic quilting techniques and tools and the appliqué blocks are completed individually in the single block format.

A New Adventure

I have enjoyed reading others' blogs, and sharing, so welcome to mine.A little about me, I opened my shop "Wee Folks Heirloom Sewing & Quilt Shoppe" in 1982, and I love what I do. I'm a professional quilter, and own a longarm quilting machine, I teach quilting, smocking & sewing classes to adults and children, design custom heirloom & smocked childrens clothing and quilts, and I love to play the French Horn.
Life if such an adventure. We live on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie, and it feels like
I'm on vacation everyday with Bailey, our
beloved Lhasa Apsa.
